DESCRIPTION:The 11th Workshop on Physics and Technology of Semiconductor Lasers will take place in Toruń, Poland, from 18-22 October 2026. This event is a focused international biennial workshop that brings together scientists, engineers, and industry experts from Poland and abroad to cover a wide range of topics, including edge-emitting laser diodes, VCSELs, VECSELs, PCSELs, DFB/DBR lasers, quantum cascade lasers, and emerging photonic technologies. For many years, it has provided a unique platform for in-depth exchange of knowledge, presentation of recent advances in semiconductor laser technology, and the development of close, collaborative interactions in photonics and optoelectronics.\nPIONEAR will be represented by its partners from the Lodz University of Technology ( https://pionear-project.eu/lodz-university-of-technology/ ) (TUL): Magdalena Marciniak (research specialist) as conference chair and Tomasz Czyszanowski (head of the TUL photonics group and professor of physics and photonics) in the scientific committee.\n \n\n
