Early next week, the PIONEAR consortium will come together to officially kick-off the new Horizon Europe EIC Pathfinder Open project – PIONEAR. The meeting promises to bring excellent opportunities for partners to get to know each other and kickstart the collaboration towards the development of a novel miniature microphone with better-than-human-ear quality.
The two-day kick-off meeting is due to commence on the morning of Tuesday 27th February at a unique coastal location of Härnösand, Sweden. The day is set to begin with a welcome and an introduction by the Project Coordinator and CEO of the Swedish deep-tech start-up Lumiary – Per Grön. The floor will then open to the other 6 partners for a short introduction of their organisations, team members and expertise. Over the course of these two days, the WP leaders and their team members will provide an overview of their work plans, objectives and first steps to kickstart the project.
The kick-off meeting is set to start-off a new and exciting collaboration between 7 multi-disciplinary consortium partners from Ireland (Tyndall National Institute, University College Cork), Poland (Vigo Photonics, Łodz University of Technology, and Łukasiewicz Institute of Microelectronics and Photonics) and Switzerland (Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences, and accelopment Schweiz AG) with one join goal of unleashing the full power of acoustics with a radically new technology for sound detection!
